From the Editor
Rather than wait until the last minute in October when Microsoft Publisher was going to die whether I was ready for it or not, I elected to take some time now and learn the program I had committed to replacing it with. Affinity Publisher is almost as simple to use as Microsoft Publisher, but offers additional features, increasing the learning curve. As a result, there are some minor changes in the appearance of this issue; some of those changes will remain, others will migrate closer to what we’ve established as our ‘look’ over the past fifteen years. Please bear with us during this transition, and don’t be afraid to share your opinions on what should be changed and how.
You’ll also have noticed that instead of posting PDF files as usual, this issue was posted as ZIP files, and there was a PDF called “Beltstrike! Redux” included. This is another single-page solo game by Greg Caires and Tom Price, and the design notes are on page 18.
There isn’t a section of Freelance Traveller that can’t use some love; anything anyone wants to think about writing for us will be welcome. Some sections that are particularly sparse are Fascinating Flora and The Freelance Traveller Cookbook.
