World Wide Web Links
All of these sites contain Traveller information. If you know of any other sites not listed here, please let us know. Freelance Traveller encourages "Link Exchange" agreements with other Traveller-oriented sites, and encourages participation in the Traveller WebRing. Sites reviewed in LinkLooks in Critic's Corner are marked with . Click on the graphic to see the review; each review has a link to the site.
Beginning in 2004, we are also listing sites that are not specifically Traveller sites, but which may be of interest or useful to Traveller players. See the Other Sites section below.
In April 2007, all of the links off-site on this page were adjusted to open a new window/tab in the browser. To return to this page, simply close the window that opens up.

WebRings
WebRings are chains of thematically-related web sites. Using the WebRing links, you can go from site to site, eventually returning to the site you started at. For more information about WebRings, visit the WebRing home site at http://www.webring.org/. The WebRings listed below have Traveller-related material; the links lead to the particular WebRing's home page.
- The Traveller WebRing
- http://waystation.hypermart.net/webring/. This WebRing is devoted to
the SciFi Roleplaying game Traveller. If you
have a Traveller-related webpage, please join
us!
(Freelance Traveller is a proud member of this WebRing) - Traveller: Rivals of the Third Imperium
- http://freespace.virgin.net/stuart.ferris/Traveller/Rivals of the Third Imperium.htm (This link appears to be defunct. Corrected info appreciated). The Traveller: Rivals of the Third Imperium webring is dedicated to Traveller sites which contain information related to Pocket Empires. The aim of the webring is to provide Traveller Gamemasters access to information to allow them to nurtureand develop their own Traveller empires.
- Traveller Gear Head Ring
- http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Lair/3584/gearheadring.html. The Ring for custom designs for the Traveller Role Playing Game. Find Gearhead designs, design rules, & spreadsheets. Starships, cars, planes, weapons, and orbital pogosticks can be found. All Traveller rules sets are supported (CT to G:T)
- Traveller DeckPlans Webring
- http://hartwick.edu/~smithw/deckring.htm. Traveller is the classic sci-fi RPG. The starships of Traveller really come to life when they have deckplans, every hatch and compartment detailed and described. The members of this ring have deckplans on their site, either of "Canon" starships or their own designs.
- The Fourth Imperium Working Group
- http://www.geocities.com/Area51/dimension/7081/4I.html (This link appears to be defunct. Corrected info appreciated). This ring is intended to combine the web pages of the Fourth Imperium Working Group, and our purpose is to create a new milieu for the SFRPG, Traveller, called the Fourth Imperium. We are hoping to make a high quality product that all Traveller players will be interested in.
Other Sites
Polymancer (tm) magazine (http://www.polymancerstudios.com) is a new, multi-genre monthly printed RPG magazine slated for release in early 2004. Genres covered include but are not limited to fantasy, science fiction, horror, modern day, and pulp. Each monthly issue will contain columns, features, a comic, and a complete, playable adventure. Polymancer magazine aims to provide alternatives for gamers.
Star Hero Fandom (http://www.starherofandom.com): Life, the Universe, and Everything according to Star Hero! Star Hero is science fiction roleplaying with the HERO System 5th edition. StarHeroFandom is here to support the Star Hero product line, by presenting you with worlds, gizmos, gadgets, gear, aliens, and stories for your Star Hero game. (Freelance Traveller author Kevin Walsh has done some Star Hero conversions of Traveller material, and TravellerHERO is now a product line from Comstar Games.)
Thirty-Four Firefly Episodes Based on Elton John Song Titles (http://www.steved.org/rp_rules_eltonjohn.html): "Steve D" (Steven John Darlington) has come up with some outlines for Firefly episodes, based on the titles of Elton John songs. As presented, they're good for adventures in a Traveller-like setting, so we decided to include the link here.
FSpace RPG (http://www.fspacerpg.com): Currently under development, FSpace is a classic space opera role-playing game clearly inspired in large part by Traveller. A quick look suggests that adventure material should be easily adaptable to pretty much any version of Traveller.
