Overview

The Maquis is one of several classes of Lighter intended for the Coriolis Type B. Unlike her sister class, the Bocage, the "Mocky" acts as a gunship or heavy fighter. She boasts of heavier armor and additional firepower, four missle tubes backed by mechanical reloaders. Like most Type B lighters, the Maquis was developed from the similiar Chapparal class Insystem Yacht. The vessel is manned and staffed when docked to a maneuvering Coriolis, and the engineering crew is seconded to the mothership's command system. A ventral airlock in the engineering section mates up with a compatible docking collar located near the Coriolis' engineering section, allowing for free access between the two ships.
