The 400tn Lab Ship is a jump capable laboratory serving as a mobile base for scientific research of total star systems. Included in this model are three special labs, which serve in the research of various types, ie: animal, vegetable and mineral.

Maintaining security, and the highest level of biohazard protocols, each lab is individually sealed and contained within a specialized compartment with air locks. In case of emergencies, each lab can be opened to the vacuum of space, while keeping hull integrity with the 45G armor. Each lab can be jettisoned and destroyed as need be.
