COMMENTS

Designed by the Spinward Marches Entertainment Group Heavy Equipment Architecture Division these ships are intended to service routes between nearby high pop worlds moving workforces from planets suffering from the effects of a local recession to worlds enjoying the fruits of an economic boom. These ships have also seen steady usage as colonist transports and emergency troop transport.

The first ship of class (Ex-Cold Coffin I) was eventually sold to the Imperial Bureau of Prisons and renamed Warden Hazen. This ship performed years of service shuttling dangerous prisoners to the Newcomb correctional facility until it was lost and presumed destroyed with all hands a few years ago. Whispered rumors that the ship was hijacked by a ruthless group of it's intended passengers (led by a highly intelligent sociopath scion of a powerful noble family) are firmly but perfunctorily denied by IBP public relations officials.
