Sam Swindell is a full-time professor, part-time soldier, and has-been lawyer. His thoughts have been warped primarily by over-education at the United States Military Academy (F-1, 1988), Washington and Lee Law (1995), and Sam Houston State University (Ph.D. 2011). He was commissioned in Infantry, and switched to Engineers much later. He started with CT around 1981, and had a long hiatus for a couple of decades. His interest piqued again when he started playing again, with his sons when he was supposed to be writing his dissertation. He lives with wife, children, dogs, cats, chickens and goats in a little university town which exempted itself from the surrounding Appalachia.
